ROGER NYGARD (Director/Co-Writer/Editor) Roger Nygard, a native of Orono, Minnesota, a small town outside of Minneapolis, began his career as a filmmaker after being graduated from the University of Minnesota. His first project was the horror-comedy short, WARPED. Shot in Minnesota on a shoestring budget, the film went on to capture the top award at the 1990 Houston International Film Festival. Nygard has also directed television episodes of the sketch comedy "Haywire" for Fox, as well as an episode of the horror series "Monsters," starring comedienne Julie Brown and former "Saturday Night Live" regulars Kevin Nealon and David Spade.

Nygard's next project was the hilarious feature, HIGH STRUNG, starring and written by comedian Steve Oedekerk. This independent film was shot in two-and-a-half weeks on a $300,000 budget. As it traveled the festival circuit, the film won critical acclaim and received top audience awards at The Rivertown Film Festival in Minneapolis and The Florida Film Festival in Orlando.

Nygard's second feature, BACK TO BACK, a high-voltage action-comedy, allowed him to co-write, edit, and direct for Neo Motion Pictures. BACK TO BACK premiered at the 1996 USA Film Festival in Dallas before going on to other festivals and having it's commercial premiere as an HBO Original Motion Picture. This association with NEO led to the collaboration on TREKKIES, and to Neo's next production: SUCKERS, a comedy about new car salesman, co-written and directed & edited by Nygard. Nygard is currently producing and editing SIX DAYS IN ROSWELL, a documentary about UFO enthusiasts attending the six day celebration of the 50th anniversary of the alleged crash of an alien space ship in Roswell, New Mexico.
