Bobby Deluca (Louis Mandylor) is a nice guy in a lot of trouble! He owes money to a couple of bone-breaking loansharks, and is getting pressure from his wife Donna (Lori Loughlin) to get a job at the car dealership where she works as the office accountant. Desperate for fast money, Bobby reluctantly becomes a car salesman.

The South Side Car dealership is the domain of Reggie (Daniel Benzali - TV's "Murder One"). He rules over his diverse crew of car salesmen including J.J., a slick talker who hates Reggie with a passion. Reggie trains his team to sell the hell out of cars on the lot, while sucking out every penny of profit from the customers. What Bobby and others don't realize is that Reggie is not only dealing in cars - but in an illegal smuggling operation that uses the vehicles as a way of transferring contraband.

Bobby quickly becomes an ace salesman. He is close to winning a ten-thousand dollar bonus which will give him enough to pay off the loansharks. But instead, the loansharks decide that they want Bobby to help them break into the office safe. Bobby tries to resist but when the loansharks kidnap Donna, he has no choice but to do what they want.

Meanwhile, J.J. stumbles upon Reggie's drug smuggling operation. Hungry for revenge, J.J. decides to take Reggie's stash and cash by force. But as J.J. tries to make his move, he and his heavily armed hoods run into Bobby and the loansharks in the process of looting the safe. The deadly standoff explodes into a stunning exchange of gunfire - and Bobby and Donna are trapped in the middle.
